About me
My name is Patrick Stokoe and I’m from Livermore California. I’m a junior at CDO high. I am inspired by Ansel Adams photography because I really like the way he uses light along with nature to really capture the beauty of nature. I really like landscape art because It give you an opportunity to capture all kinds of subjects. My photography is geared toward anyone who appreciates nature. When I am taking pictures I visualize all the elements I want to capture, than I go out and search for them.
In the future I would love to take pictures for national geographic. I could use the knowledge I have obtained from this class to try new styles and use more in photoshop. Something I will take away from this class is to take lost of pictures of the same thing so that you have options and can choose the best shot. Photography is an important part of society because it is used to convey news, beliefs, and tell stories. I have been taught that if someone can understand the message behind your picture without and text than that is a good picture.
This year I would like to take something from all styles of photography and use them as sub styles in my pictures. I really like to use framing in my photos. I believe when I frame my subject it stands out more.
